• Depart Tokyo and travel towards Mt. Fuji by motor coach, and get ready to experience one of the most beautiful mountains in the world with an English-speaking guide.
• Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013, Mt. Fuji and its surrounding area is a marvel of nature with its snow-capped mountains and lakes fringed by trees. Upon arrival, go to Mt. Fuji 5th Station, located at 2,305 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level. Experience this shrine to the mountain at the souvenir gift shops, and encounter climbers getting ready to ascend the mountain.
• After lunch ( if you have booked lunch option), travel to Lake Ashi and climb aboard a boat to cruise across the lake in style. Admire the vast expanse of the landscape from a different perspective. Then, ride the ropeway (aerial lift) to get 360-degree views as you head towards the top of Mt. Komagatake. Admire the panoramic vistas on a short walk at the summit.
• Go to Hakone, famous for its hot springs and wind down before you take the bullet train back to Tokyo. But for those tourists booked the option of End at Odawara station , they should arrange any bullet train to their next destination at Odawara station on their own cost.
• Itinerary 8:40am – Meet at “LOVE” statue at Shinjuku 8:50am -Departure from “LOVE” statue at Shinjuku 11 :1 Dam – 11 :40am – Mt Fuji 5th Station (Fuji Yoshida) You will get the closest view of Mt. Full Day Tokyo Signature Sightseeing Tour
• Your first stop is Meiji Shrine {Meiji Jingu), a shrine dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shoken. The shrine was completed in 1920, and through the southern and northern path to the shrine meet you’ll find the symbol of Meiji Jingu: the torii.
• Following that you will visit the Tokyo Imperial Palace {Kokyo). It is the primary residence of the Emperor of Japan, consisting of a large park-like area located in the Chiyoda ward of Tokyo. It contains buildings including the main palace, the private residences of the Imperial Family, an archive, museums, and administrative offices.
• The next stop is Sensoji, the ancient Buddhist temple located in Asakusa. It is Tokyo’s oldest and one of its most significant temples. Adjacent to the temple is a 5-story pagoda called the Asakusa Shinto Shrine. The Kaminarimon is the outer of two large entrance gates that ultimately lead to the Sens6-ji in Asakusa. The gate, with its lantern and statues, is hugely popular with tourists.
• After visiting Sensoji you will have free lunch time in Nakamisedori, in Asakusa. It is a street which leads to the temple that is approximately 250 meters in length and contains around 89 shops and restaurants.
• The morning section of your tour will conclude there in the Nakamise-dori street.
• In the afternoon, you will continue your tour to the Asakusa Pier where you’ll board a Tokyo Water Bus, cruising in the river about 40 minutes , which has recently become a hot-spot in Tokyo. See Tokyo from a different perspective and take in panoramic views of the city skyline.
• The last spot of the tour is the old neighborhood of Shibamata. Absorb the warm atmosphere of the old town that still bears a close resemblance to Edo, one that has a special place in the heart of many Japanese people. See the filming location of the longrunning TV film series “Otoko wa Tsurai Yo,” which translates to
“It’s Tough Being a Man”. Visit the Shibamata Taishakuten, a Buddhist temple founded in 1629. Then, take a leisurely stroll through the calm Japanese garden passing beautiful sculptures.
