TOUR ITINERARY


DAY 1 -ARRIVE IN CAPE TOWN
Welcome to Cape Town! Upon arrival, you will be met by a local representative at Airport and you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure, explore the city on your own.

DAY 2 -CAPE TOWN
Spend your day at leisure, explore the city on your own.

DAY 3 -CAPE TOWN
After breakfast, proceed for a private full day Cape Point Tour. This tour includes Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, the funicular (optional) to reach the hillcrest at Cape of Good Hope, the penguin colony at Boulders Beach (optional), Chapman’s Peak (subject to the road being open), Hout Bay stop at the harbor, Sea Point, city of Cape Town drive. The evening is at leisure.

DAY 4 -CAPE TOWN-KNYSNA
After breakfast, drive on the magnificent Garden Route to Knysna. Knysna is located along South Africa’s famed Garden Route in the Western Cape Province. The town is famous for its oyster festival, warm people and the most magnificent views from Leisure Isle to the Knysna Heads. A visit to Knysna is a sublime blend of adventure and relaxation. It’s easy to get into the Knysna spirit as you drive in on the N2 highway from Cape Town. The town is well developed, but it feels as if you’re travelling in woodcutter country. You have the rest of the day at leisure to explore the town at your own pace.

DAY 5 -KNYSNA
After breakfast, rest of the day is at leisure.

You can visit the Cango Caves and Cango Wildlife Ranch – see crocodiles, cheetah, Bengal tigers, lions, jaguars and puma. In the evening, you can opt for a sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon.
The Waterfront is a popular hotspot for tourists and locals alike, known and loved for its leisure activities, dining and spectacular views. It is also a shopaholic’s delight, as there a number of fabulously unique shops. These range from designer clothing boutiques and jewellery designers to touristy goods and curio shops. There are art galleries, décor shops, and specialty stores to cater to the needs and preferences of just about everyone who visits.

DAY 6 -KNYSNA-MONTAGU
Today post breakfast, check out from your hotel and head to Montagu. It is the gateway to the Little Karoo and also the scenic heart of Route 62. This historic link between Cape Town, Oudtshoorn, the Garden Route and the Eastern Cape, offers travellers remarkable beauty. All combining to make this one of the most memorable journeys in South Africa, winding through spectacular scenery and mountain passes. This peaceful town is steeped in history and is famous for its awe-inspiring rock formations, orchards, vineyards, local herbs and healing hot mineral springs. Visitors will discover our Wildflower Nature garden, Bird Sanctuaries, Nature Reserve, museums, art galleries, Historic Homes, lovely hiking trails, 4X4 and Mountain Bike trails and ideal rock climbing opportunities.

DAY 7 – MONTAGU

Montagu Mountain Biking Route: Nestled in the Langeberg mountain range Montagu is rapidly becoming a mecca for mountain bikers. There are numerous areas to explore here, many accessible only on horseback or on a mountain bike. Surrounding settlements with enchanting names like, Patatsfontein, Pietersfontein, Derde Heuwel and Baden beckon from behind the nearby “koppies”.

DAY 8 -DEPART FOR HOME!
Post breakfast drive back to Cape Town. Return your rental car at the airport and board your flight for your onward destination.
